Real Estate Market Update: King County – November 2021

There are number of listings still coming for the rest of 2021 because it’s still such a great time to be a seller.

We are seeing a balance in some markets where it is a stronger time to be a buyer as well. We personally have had successes with buyers this year, which is refreshing compared to the Spring market last year.

The Eastside reported a 326% absorption rate for October which was the highest ever recorded with 896 pending transactions and just 275 active listings available. Southend absorption remains high as well at 234% and only a half month supply of inventory. King County was at 179% absorption.

Inventory remains critically low as we head into the winter months where inventory historically is at their lowest numbers. But sales remain brisk and multiple offers have not slowed down in many areas.

We sound like a broken record, but we still think that we will have a really strong Spring 2022, as well as a strong end to 2021.

If you are considering selling and want to get a current market evaluation of your home or are ready to buy now that things are starting to calm down, feel free to reach out. We don’t bite. Send us an e-mail, text, or give us a call, we’d love to help.

Wishing you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

All the best from our families to yours!
